I know lots of you have the same feelings that I do when it comes to your pets. They are just like family. My two dogs, Lady and Molly are my first babies. Lady (the black lab) turns 15 this year and Molly (the pointer) turns 12. We don’t go all out but they are special enough that they deserve a special day just as much. I wanted to share with you a few ways you can celebrate your best buds by fulling their needs.

Go for a walk or ride:

Do your dogs like to go for a walk or enjoy riding in the car? A free way to celebrate them is by allowing them to do things they love, like going for a walk. It benefits their health as well by fulfilling their mental needs. My dogs don’t particular like to be in the vehicle but I know plenty of dogs who enjoy a good stick your head out the window car ride too.

Play fetch:

My dogs use to love to play fetch. Not as much as they have gotten older but nonetheless it is something most dogs enjoy. Grab a ball and head to the park or your own backyard. This activity will help fulfill their physical, mental and social needs.

Feed them special treats:

Now this is something my dogs will never out grow. They are both food driven dogs and love a good treat. We love the Nudges® brand. They have some new products that would be perfect for a special treat, the Nudges® Grillers and Sizzlers. I love that they have little grill marks, so cute, and perfect for when we are grilling out. They get to have little grilled treats too. This is just another way to help fulfill their physical needs with a high quality treat.  Nudges are also made in the USA with USA-sourced protein with real meat and real food inspired.

We picked up our Nudges in the dog treat aisle at our local Wal-Mart and that is where you can grab some for your besties too. Nudges also has new Jerky Cuts value size (36oz).

You can find Nudges on Facebook. Also, check out all the flavors at and let me know which one you think your dog would love the most!
