Eucalyptus has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial, antiviral, and decongestant properties. It is commonly used in inhalants and vapor rubs.

Peppermint is an extract from the peppermint plant. It is very much like the eucalyptus with its ability to decrease inflammation. Peppermint can also be great for pain relief and fighting infections.

Much like eucalyptus and peppermint, Rosemary also has analgesic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and decongestant properties. These are all great for sinus problems.

How to use essential oils for sinus problems!

The three best ways to use essential oils are by either mixing them with a carrier oil, diffusing them, or adding them to your bath water.

Mixing with a carrier oil:

All you need to do is add a few drops of recommended essential oil to your carrier oil. I prefer coconut oil but you can also use olive, grape seed, etc.

Diffusing oils:

Add a few drops of essential oils and water and diffuse.

Mixing with hot bath water:

Add a few drops of oil to your hot bath water and allow yourself to soak for 15 to 20 minutes.
