Have you ever seen those pictures where it shows what some celebrities looked like without eyebrows? It really shows you how much we NEED eyebrows. We would all look super silly without them.
Not only that but our eyebrows do have a purpose and a function. They are designed to keep dirt, sweat, and foreign objects out of our eyes. They also help us with things like, you know, emotions.
To be honest though, the majority of us probably don’t even give our eyebrows a second thought until they have gotten unruly and messy looking.
Here are just a few quick tips to keeping them under control and looking beautiful. 🙂
- To help with tweezing dab a cotton ball with warm water or cream to soften the skin.
- Tweeze in the direction your hair grows.
- For unruly eyebrow hairs, spray a eyebrow brush with some hairspray to hold brows in place.
- Comb your eyebrow hairs upwards and outwards for a natural eyebrow look. This will also give you the wide eyed look.
Do you have any eyebrow tips of your own?
NOTE: Keep an eye out as later today the 2nd giveaway winner will be announced. 🙂

the hairspray tip totally works. I have crazy unruly brows but a little hairspray calms them right down.
Haha… same here.

These are some great tips! I am awful at tweezing my eyebrows. I was looking at some pictures the other day and realized that one of my eyebrows was WAY noticeably thicker than the other. It was kind of embarrassing. Haha Anyway, I found you from Polkadots on Parade and I am officially your newest follower! Yay for being blog friends! 🙂
I’ll be honest I probably tweeze my hubbies brows more than I do my own. No lie! haha… Thanks so much for stopping by and following me. I’m going to go check out your blog now.

I saw on some TV show that you can put Ambesol (numbing agent for infant teethers) on your eyebrows and supposedly take the pain out of tweezing! I’m getting some next week to give it a go!
Haha, I’ve never heard of that. Ambesol is kind of expensive to use on eyebrows though, IMO. I would probably just numb them with some ice.
