I shopped savvy using Walmart Saving Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Crowdtap #WMTSavingsCatcher.
If you are like most people then you love saving money. I mean really who doesn’t? I use to be really good at using coupons but I will be the first to tell you (but really probably not) that clipping coupons takes a LOT of time and work, a lot. It can be downright exhausting which is one of the reasons why I stopped. If you have it down to a science then that is awesome and keep rocking it. I truly wish I did. However, that is the reason why I am so excited about this new Walmart Savings Catcher program. Even if I don’t have time to clip that awesome coupon floating around I can still feel like I am saving something.
Before I joined up I checked out a few reviews of the savings catcher and I noticed that most people tell you how or show you how to get these savings with a phone app. That is great and you can download the app if you prefer that method. However, I am going to walk you through setting up your account and getting your savings online.
First you will want to go to the Walmart Savings Catcher page and sign up for your account. This won’t take long, all you will need to do is submit your name and pick a password, along with your zip code. This will allow the program to know who you are when you login and to keep track with your receipt submissions.
Once you have signed up and logged in you will be brought to a page that looks like the picture below.
As you can tell I marked where you are suppose to submit your TC# and date of purchase. On your receipt your TC number can be found above the bar code at the bottom of your Walmart receipt as well as your date of purchase. This is also what you would scan (the bar code) if you were to choose to do this through the Walmart Savings Catcher App.
Now that you have submitted your TC# and date of purchase Walmart Savings Catcher will compare the prices for you. Easy Peasy! This process will take 2-3 days. You can submit up to 7 receipts a week and they will all show up in your account under recent receipts. As you can see I submitted one yesterday. I don’t know how much I saved yet but I’m pretty excited to find out and will let you know the details on that when they come in.
If a lower price was found you will then receive the difference back in the form of a Walmart e-card which you can use on your next purchase. You can also continue to let it save and watch your amount grow.
If you were wondering what is included in the Savings Catcher program then check out this link for items that apply for comparison. If you have used this program then go share the buzz and enter yourself for a chance to win $2k.
What would you save your Walmart Savings Catcher savings on?
