Instructions
Gather all supplies. To create the shark, line up six jumbo craft sticks in an arch on your work surface.
Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to the width of the shark and attach with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Download, print, and cut out the shark pattern.
Trace the outline of the shark onto the craft sticks with a pencil. Trim the craft sticks carefully with scissors.
Using a pencil, trace the shark head onto the craft sticks
Basecoat the inside of the shark’s head with light blue acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Paint the outside of the shark’s head with medium blue acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Place the two wiggle eyes in position on the shark, and trace the mouth with a pencil.
Paint the shark’s mouth with red acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Trace the shark’s teeth on white craft foam, and cut out with scissors. Attach the teeth into the mouth with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Trace the shark fins onto blue craft foam, and cut out with scissors. Attach one fin to the right and one fin to the left-hand side of the shark.
Using the pattern and the photo as a guide, draw on the shark’s gills and nostrils with a black marker.
