Gather all supplies. To create the Gingerbread House, line up seven jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to the width of the House and attach them with a glue gun and glue sticks.
Create a roof by gluing two jumbo craft sticks in a triangle pattern on the top of the Gingerbread House.
Lay four jumbo craft sticks horizontally on the gable end of the roof, trace the edge of the roof with a pencil, and trim to size with scissors. Attach to the back of the roof with a glue gun and glue sticks.
This is what the front of the Gingerbread House looks like when complete. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
Paint the front and sides of the House with Brown acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Paint one additional jumbo craft stick with brown acrylic craft paint and glue it to the bottom edge of the Gingerbread House.
Download, print, and cut out the gingerbread house patterns. Using a pencil, trace the candy cane pattern twice and the snow pattern three times onto white craft foam. Trace the door pattern onto green craft foam. Trace the window pattern twice onto red craft foam. Cut out all shapes with scissors, making sure to cut inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project.
Paint stripes on both candy canes with red acrylic craft paint. Make sure that one candy cane hooks points left and the other points right.
Attach the snow, door, windows, and candy canes to the Gingerbread House with a glue gun and glue stick. Use the photo as your guide.
Glue a red tinsel pom pom to the door as a knob, and two green tinsel pom poms beside each candy cane as bushes. Attach red and green tinsel pom poms to the snow on the roof of the Gingerbread House using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Paint the frames on the two red windows with white acrylic craft paint and a paintbrush.
Loosely wrap two green chenille stems together, then bend them into a circle, twisting to secure them at the top to create a wreath. Tie the skinny red ribbon in a small bow and glue it onto the wreath.
To finish the Gingerbread House, attach the wreath to the gable end of the roof with a glue gun and glue sticks
