white sugar
3
tablespoons
unsweetened cocoa powder
2
large eggs
1
5 ounce can evaporated milk
¼
cup
melted butter
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1
9 inch unbaked pie crust
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and cocoa.
Use a stand mixer or hand mixer to beat the eggs until they reach a light and fluffy consistency.
Stir the beaten eggs with the cocoa mixture. Followed by beating in the evaporated milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
Once the mixture is well combined, pour it into the unbaked pie crust.
Allow the pie to bake in the preheated oven until it sets, typically around 45 minutes.
Exercise patience as you let it cool before indulging in the delightful slices that await.
