Today I thought I would share a fun way to customize your own pens to get your planning on in style with DIY custom washi pens.

Make your own DIY custom washi pens! Great for changing out designs for the holidays, making custom pens for planning or making custom designs for gifts.

SUPPLIES:

  • Ball Point Pens {with the large barrals} You can find these at Dollar Tree or Target Dollar Spot.
  • Washi Tape
  • Paper
  • Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. First, you will want to measure and cut out a 9.8 cm x 3.5 cm piece of paper.

2. Place your favorite washi tape down covering your paper.

3. Take apart your pen and set aside the pieces. Be sure not to lose any pieces, you will need all of them to have a properly working pen.

4. Trim off the excess washi leaving a little on one side to close your washi around your pen.

5. Place your paper around your pen base.

6. Once you have the paper affixed slide the tube back on and put your pen back together.

Just your basic ball point pen with the larger tube. I picked these up at Dollar Tree.
