Coming up with new ways to move that elf around each night can become a chore but if you go into it with a planned out idea it is definitely much easier. How about throwing in your traditional countdown to Christmas with a little candy fun.

Some of my all-time favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish so you know that one of the countdown days is going to include these bad boys.

This days idea was for Peanuts (our elf) and the rest of his toy gang to play a fun round of cards. Go fish, probably. haha! The winner gets the candy stash. In the end, I am the winner because I get to have a little fun making my daughter excited about what Peanuts has done and the next day raid my favorite candy.

What kind of candy would you use in your candy countdown to Christmas?

As I mentioned some of my tops are in this post today, Sour Patch Kids, Swedish Fish, and Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars.

  • Sour Patch Kids— I am a huge fan of sour and sweet stuff and these kids hit that right on the nail. They also are a little mischievous themselves, perfect for the elf.
  • Swedish Fish— The only kind of fish candy I want is the Swedish fish kind. Soft, chewy, and delicious!
  • OREO Chocolate Candy Bars— Of course, you can't do candy in my house without adding some kind of chocolate. These Oreo Chocolate Candy Bars are made with the Milka chocolate and if you haven't had it you are missing out. YUM! Cookie pieces and rich vanilla cream coated with chocolate. Yes, Santa told me that is the kind of cookie he wanted this year. Ha!

I hope y'all enjoyed this fun and just a little bit silly idea for your mischievous elf. It is sure to get your kids in a giggling delight. Want to enter for your chance to win a $200 Walmart Gift Card or 1 of the 6 $50 Walmart Gift Cards? Be sure to do so by December 23, 2017.
