How do you make a flower bouquet out of paper?
Begin by making the wrap for the bouquet. To do this, you have to start with a square sheet of cardstock.
The simplest way to make a square is to cut a sheet of brown cardstock in half width-wise.
Fold one corner up into a triangle. Trim off the excess and you now have a square.
Now, open the square and rotate so it’s like a diamond. Fold one point over.
Fold the other point over on top of it. Glue just the bottom points to secure.
Next, paint some craft sticks green for the flower stems. You will want at least 3 flowers per bouquet.
While the stems are drying, draw some flower shapes with a black marker.
Don’t worry about the flowers being perfect. Their uniqueness is part of the charm.
Cut out the flowers along the outside black lines.
Glue the flower tops to the stems.
And insert the flowers into the wrap.
Finally, cut a heart out of red cardstock. Use the hole punch to punch a hole on both sides of the heart.
Cut a strand of yarn and insert it through one hole. Bring it around the bouquet and insert it through the other hole.
You can use tape on the back of the bouquet to further secure the yarn if needed. And tie in place.
