Outdoor DIY Projects: Summer Fun for Kids & Adults

Even though it’s not officially Summer yet the heat is on this week. We are getting some 90+ degree weather and even a couple of days in the triple digits. As much as the winter dragged on I am so not complaining. Yet! 😉  The pools are open, the kids (for the most part) are out of school and it’s time for backyard bbq’s and some great Summer fun to commence. Here are some easy Summer DIY projects to get you started. These are fun for the kiddos and the adults alike. 🙂

Looking for ways to get outdoors this summer and have fun with your kids? Consider building one of these fun oversized games.

Ladder Ball Golf Game // Giant Jenga // Super sized Checkers

With all of today’s technology kids don’t go outside and play like I use to when I was a kid. My husband and I are trying to make it a point to get our daughter outside and enjoying making mud pies and playing in the dirt. It’s the best part about growing up and we definitely don’t want her to miss out on it. Get out there and soak up the sun and make some memories. Don’t forget the sunblock!

We like to play ladder ball. We have the game at our RV and play it when we go camping. These are all great ideas. I'm stumbling and sharing this to my FB page.
