If you are going to use the construction paper method just have your child or children draw out the shape of a couple of eggs.
You can use the same shape as the printable or however the child sees an egg in their eyes. You will also want to cut out 2 green circles for the yolks and a green-shaped ham.
Whether you decided to use the printable or make some from construction paper it is time to cut them out.
At this point, if you want to paint your paper plate you can also do that.
We just decided to leave it white because that is the color of the plate in the book, but you could paint it gray, red, blue, etc.
Whatever color you like best. Allow it to dry before moving on to the gluing step.
Once your plate is prepped you are ready to glue on your pieces.
That is all there is to this super simple and sweet little green eggs and ham paper plate craft.
It is perfect for even the smallest crafters in the family.
They will love to get involved in celebrating Dr. Seuss and his quirky spirit too.
