How to make Poop Emoji St. Patrick's Day Soap
Dark Green Layer:
If you purchase the clear soap base mentioned in the ingredients list you will see that they come in easy-to-cut cubes, you will want to add 8 cubes to one of your measuring cups. If you do not have the cubed soap base then you will want to add approximately 8 ounces into your first cup.
Add your chamomile and lemongrass essential oil drops to the measuring cup.
Melt in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until it is completely melted.
Add the dark green mica powder and the dark green cosmetic glitter to the measuring cup, and thoroughly mix the color and glitter into the soap mixture.
Spray the bottom of the mold with rubbing alcohol and carefully pour the dark green soap mixture into the mold.
Spray soap mixture with alcohol to remove bubbles and allow to harden at least 30 minutes. You will know it's time to pour the next layer if you blow on the soap and it doesn’t ripple.
Light Green Layer:
Repeat steps 1-3 in the dark green layer.
Add the light green mica powder and the light green cosmetic glitter to the measuring cup, and thoroughly mix the color and glitter into the soap mixture.
Once again spray the dark green layer with rubbing alcohol. This will help the layers adhere to one another. Carefully pour light green soap mixture into the mold.
Spray the light green layer with alcohol to remove bubbles and allow it to harden for at least 30 minutes.
Make sure there are no ripples when you blow on it before you begin the 3rd and final layer.
Gold Layer:
Repeat steps 1-3 in dark green and light green layers.
Add gold mica powder and gold cosmetic glitter to the measuring cup, thoroughly mix color and glitter into soap mixture.
Spray the light green layer with rubbing alcohol as this will help the layers adhere to one another. Carefully pour the gold soap mixture into the mold.
Spray gold layer with alcohol to remove bubbles and allow to harden at least 30 minutes. Make sure there are no ripples when you blow on it.
At this point you will want to just repeat the above steps in order of layers; dark green, light green, and gold until you have your mold completely filled.
Allow setting overnight. Carefully pop the soaps from the mold and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
Note: If you do not have the poop mold I used, that is totally fine. You can use any mold you like and get the same layered effect. You may just have to adjust the amount of soap you use but the same layered steps will apply.
The important thing is that you just have a lot of fun creating these poop emoji St. Patrick's Day soap.
