Don't get scared! This popsicle stick haunted house is a not-so-spooky and fun Halloween craft kids are going to love painting and decorating.
Just a few simple supplies like popsicle sticks, paint, and construction paper will have you ringing the doorbell for candy in no time.
But beware, they may just invite you in to become a permanent Halloween party guest!
Although we made our version a little kid-friendly you can create your own haunted house as creepy or spooky as you like.
A black cat and spider webs, there are tons of different and creative ways you can concoct up and get you into the Halloween spirit.

Supplies you will need to make a popsicle stick haunted house!
- wooden craft sticks
- orange and black acrylic paint
- paintbrush
- glue stick
- white, orange, yellow, and black cardstock
- pencil
- scissors
- black Sharpie
- white chalk marker
- free printable Halloween shapes template (you could also use foam Halloween stickers)
How to make your own Popsicle Stick Haunted House Craft!
Paint 9 popsicle sticks orange and 4 black.
Stack the orange popsicle sticks close together, then glue a popsicle stick crosswise, and two pieces of a popsicle stick cut in half as another cross.
Cut out the template and draw the cat, bat, and door on black paper, cut out.
Draw the ghost on the white paper, a circle and square on the yellow paper, and a pumpkin on the orange. Once you are done cut all the pieces out.
Draw a mouth and eyes on the ghost and pumpkin using the black marker.
With the white pencil draw the eyes and mouth of the cat and bat and a door handle.
Glue three black popsicle sticks together in a triangle to make the roof.
Draw the popsicle stick roof on black paper, cut it out, and glue it to the back of the roof.
Glue the round window on the roof and the door and window to the house.
Cut a thin strip of black paper, then cut small pieces of it to go across the round window and across the square window.
Glue the roof on the house and then glue on the bat, cat, pumpkin, and ghost on the house.
